  • Ohio St/ Florida play (courtesy of Sportsbook)

Most days Sportsbook sends me a write up on a "Game of the day". Obviously they are trying to bring more money in on a certain side.

Here is how they have done since last Monday

    1/1 - Tessessee (Lost)
    1/2 - Wake Forest (Lost)
    1/3 - Notre Dame (Lost)
    1/4,1/5 - No e-mail from them
    1/6 - Seattle (Lost)
    1/7 - Phily (Lost)

    Here is tonight's write up.......

"Out of 24 combined games, these two teams covered the UNDER 17 times. Florida's defense only allows 13.5 PPG whereas OSU allows a mere 10.4 PPG. In non-conference games, Florida covered the UNDER 8 out of 9 times over the last three seasons. In their 13 bowl games since '92, OSU covered the OVER just four times. When playing after two or more weeks rest, OSU has covered the OVER only 7 out of 22 times since '92. With their dominant defenses and all of the UNDER trends, it is a little surprising that only 14% of the early money is on the UNDER."

They have me convinced that this game will blow up tonight. As they seem to be great fade material.

I will definitely throw something on the over 46.5

You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

I just saw this write up

Florida Gators at Ohio State Buckeyes
Monday, January 8th, 7:30 PM EST

Last two BCS Championships went over the total but also had USC in them. There have been some rather low-scoring BCS Championships since the inception of the series, with Tennessee, LSU, Florida State and Oklahoma being among those teams involved. Big Ten-SEC matches thus far this Bowl season were defensive struggles. FLORIDA is 16-7 UNDER in road games in games played on a grass field over the last 2 seasons 8-1 UNDER in non-conference games ver the last 3 seasons and 9-1 UNDER off 1 or more straight overs over the last 3 seasons. OHIO ST is 12-3 UNDER in road games off a no-cover where the team won as a favorite since 1992, 31-11 UNDER after 4 or more consecutive straight up wins since 1992 and 9-2 UNDER in road games after a game where they forced 1 or less turnovers over the last 2 seasons.

          Play on: Under
          Boxing 0-1
