Am i the only one bothered by this thread and the other 2 he started? I like Charlie, i do, but this really bothers me. Everyone knows we had 2 bets in the FFL and he lost both ($150). He wanted to go double or nothing on the Title game and started a bet thread. After taking about $1,000 worth of wagers (might be less, that was his limit) he proceeds to (weeks later) cancel all wager and say he won't be around much because he has to get away from gambling and straighten out his life & debt. That was a mistake to post that because i knew he wasn't going to quit. I think the thread was posted under a state of depression. He did email and say he would send the $150 + $50 for the nascar pools and i did appreciate that. I did not let him off the hook for the $150 because i've been there and done that. The more debt that is relieved, the more inspired you are to keep gambling. I lost my ass at his age and i had alot of shit that i finally got paid off but NOBODY ever erased the debt. I guess i'm really bothered because after all that, he posts a play the other day after recently saying he was done and quitting. My problem isn't with him gambling, it's with the cancelled bets that HE went through the time to make with everyone. Do they all know their bets are cancelled? If not, they will be looking for him and pissed when they find out. I also know that if he is serious about quitting, maybe that $50 should have been used on the debt instead of a hopeless 8 team parlay looking for the big hit. That will get you killed every time.

This post isn't bashing at all and it's really in good will. I love gambling and i'm sure Charlie does too but you can't be doing what he has been doing here. It's simply not right and the more i see him daily, the more i honestly wonder if he ever stopped or is betting tonight ... and i'm willing to bet he is. You can't reach out with the speech that he did and get everyone in your corner only to come out firing days later. People were pissed then and i understood why ... I'm honestly not sure if he did though. That's where the problem lies (imo).

I had Ohio St-3 for $300 on a bet with Charlie and cancelled after he sent me an email crying about getting crushed... I also did the same thing when I was 20 and still bet, but now only with money that I have. I had to quit for over 5 years to pay it all back..I know a lot of guys here don't like me, but you don't come back and throw out parlays on a forum if you quit right in front of the guys that you cryed to last week. I have to agree with Wayne here, even though I think of Charlie as my son.

Believe me, i met charlie with Dimer and played golf with him, frankb and jbc... He's a good kid but now i finally realize he needs help.. Not bashing charlie at all but now he needs to go to meetings
