  • Would you work for .59 cents per hour?? I did

I was cleaning my office and i stumbled on all my gamblinjg records for the last 12 years...So i tallyied up my wins and losses as best as i could for the past 12 years (been gambling football for 20 years & multiple sports for 6 years) and here is what i came up with.....

12 years worth of wagers = +$3,670 (roughly...some i could not read clearly)

that is crazy........I am usually pretty conservative and know during my early years i would bet more than i could afford, but i imagine it is pretty close with the early years as well....just bigger numbers.....

so if i capped an average of 10 hours per week x 52 weeks = 520 hours per year x 12 years = 6,240 hours which when divided into the winnings comes to .59 cents per hour....

Like i said it is "sports investing"!!! ha ha....thought some would get a kick out of this.....

    It could be worst....

i may go service....lots of folks would want to go to a guy who knocks it down like me....ha ha....I would have done winning % but i did not have the time....each page had a total and i just added them......

why work when you can gamble and make .59 per hour

does this make me a high roller???

59 cents an hour is better than paying to work like me.

better than losing a penny........im shocked you actually kept records

once I settled with my man before the online days i ripped that shit up quick......betting was and is still taboo as most people frown upon it after seeing so many horror stories.

you sound rather meticulous......i can only imagine what else you save

          PEACE

funny you mention that.....i had them in a safe..i only started keeping them because when i went with a new book he had 3 people answering the phones and our #'s never checked......where i was from they always went after the books, not the little people...so i knew i was safe.....as far as saving shit....if it does not have to do with records about biz or money...it ain't kept......minimalisitic living bro....no clutter here....i forgot the movie, but a closet full of 12 blue button up shirts, 12 white ones.....3 blue suits, 2 grey suits, 2 black suits.....pretty boring actually.....

i think most people frown upon it.....to be honest......many have had spouses lose their grocery money and worse i suppose......I think i am pretty much done myself...i emtied all my offshore accounts (2) and have 1 bet in still (tomorrows)...i do not even have a local anymore......waynes goy was my 1st bet in 5 weeks.....I have just lost my interest in sports and betting to be honest....I can not put my finger on it......but i am just bored with it all...I do not watch games anymore.....(can not stand pro athletes or their antics)...I went from betting about $300 a game 5 years ago and decreasing all the way down to the last 3 years of about 50-100 a game....It is not from losing or winning since i am basically a break-even guy (always knew it)....just time to move on....but i am still popping in here late nights....now that i am officially unretired the last month....
