I know this is yesterday's news, but I was out last night and fuming and hadn't had a chance to retort.
The loss is 100% on Bill Parcells. Or more, if possible. Coaches who play not to lose, do just that. First and goasl with no plans to attack the end zone.
The supposedly banged up Seahawk defense and secondary was not challenged the entire game, and if you take away the kick return, the Cowboys exploded for all of 13 points the whole game.
And let's suppose for a second that Romo handles the snap, and the FG is good. Does anybody think the 2 point lead would have held up over the last 1:40 of play? Seattle, with Josh Brown, would only need to move the ball 30-40 yards and end the misery with a kick. Playing for FGs all the time has cost many coach/team wins, and Tuna and Marty and other conservative A-holes have to assume the responsibility for a loss when unable to grasp the mathematics, that 7 is more than 3, all the time, forever and ever.
This one is on the tight-ass Tuna, for the whom the game has passed by.You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.
