This will be my "Teaser of the Year"!
I have not had one this year because nothing fit the mold, (IMO) this one does and it is a 2 day teaser.
"GOY" Record = (21-8)

"Teaser of the Year" (
Units)

"7 PT. Teaser" = Indianapolis (Pk) - New England (-1.5) ---> (-130)
Indianapolis - I think they win by DD. All the talk is about their run defense and Larry Johnson. I'm hearing close game and K.C. ML talked about and printed everywhere. None of it has made me 2nd guess my opinion on this game. Bob Sanders is ready to go for Indy and he said his knee feels better than it has in months. Anybody that has any knowledge of this team will tell you how big a difference he makes for this defense. Ask N.E. when he came back from injury to play a game and was the star from start to finish. He hurt it again and missed more time but they have been holding him down until playoff time. I'm spending alot of time on him here and most might not think it will be a big deal but i'm saying yes, it will be. The Indy rush defense is clearly different with him out there. Will Johnson get his yards? No doubt, but i think Indy's rush defense plays a very inspired game today and comes up big. I also think Freeney will give Green nightmares. The K.C. Wr's do not scare anybody either after Gonzalez at TE. Indy is going into these playoffs unlike past years. They are considered by many to be struggling and having many question marks. Simply put, they are not expected to win. Most people picking the SB are not even mentioning Indy unlike past years. Do i think that means they are winning it all? No, but, i think it adds a chip on their shoulder coming out of the gate. I also think Addai is going to have a big day. What is Peyton Manning great at? How about "Play Action" passes? He has done it and been one of the best at using play action pass over the years and when i heard today that K.C. was 31st in the League against Play Action on defense ... That just solidified this play even more for me. I will be playing them straight too but at a lighter unit value.
N.E. - These teams have played 2 tight games on the scoreboard and this line looks too good for a NYJ team who "Has a shot to win" right? Again, i disagree. Experience, Experience, Experience. That will play a BIG role in this game 1st and foremost. The best thing that could have happened to N.E. was losing to the Jets at home earlier this season. If nothing else, it will keep them focused on this matchup and everything i hear up here is pointing to that. The Jets are a great story but Bill is about to show Eric what experience means on Sunday. Can most name who will be getting the bulk of the carries for the Jets on Sunday and a little background on him unless you live in N.Y., are a Jets fan or use the computer? No. I think the Brady to Caldwell connection will be big and i think Maroney and/or Dillon will have a huge day. The Jets will have to abandon the run if they fall behind and they have the WR's to put some points on the board and keep it somewhat close. This is Tom Brady time and year after year he has proven why. This will be no different. Would i be shocked if the Jets covered the 8.5 or back doored to get the spread? No, but i would be Shocked if they won. I see no way N.E., Brady, coach Bill or Maroney & Dillon let this one slip away at home against Chad Pennington and a trio of RB's. Brady has never lost a Home Playoff game and i think that streak continues!
GOOD LUCK!
