"BIG Play" #1 New England -5.5 @ GB Won 35-0
As much as I hate Indy and want them to lose I really like them to lay it to KC on Saturday. Here is my analysis.
Indy's home record this year 8-0
KC's road record 3-5
Indy's Offense at home= 29.62 ppg
KC's Defense on the road= 20.5 ppg (Respectable but If you look closer it against horrible teams, only one playoff team in San Diego).
KC's Offense on the road= 16.75 ppg
Indy's Defense at home= 18.5 ppg
Yes Indy has the 32nd ranked rush defense in the league, BUT if you look over the past 4 home games for Indy has allowed 4.8 ypr. Comparing that to KC's last 4 road games allowing 5.1ypr. Indy's Defense has actually been playing better. Not saying Indy's D is any good but they play much better at home. If KC can't stop the run either how do they stop Peyton Manning from picking the apart? Adai has been a solid replacement for E. James.
Payton Manning v.s Trent Green
Manning Yds Comp.% Y/A TD/INT Rat.

I don't care what Ace Ace says. There is a huge advantage at QB for Indy. Nobody in this game will be more prepared and more motivated that Payton Manning.
Adam Vinatieri vs Tynes Lawrence
No write up needed. Vinatieri is the best field goal kicker ever. I believe he is still perfect in Indy's dome.
Larry Johnson vs Joeseph Adai
I give the edge to LJ. He will get his 100+ yds in this game for sure. I expect Adai to have a good game as well.
This game comes down to 2 big factors imo. #1 Can Indy stop the KC running game and keep LJ out of the endzone? #2 Can KC score enough points and keep Payton Manning and his offense off the field?
I expect LJ to have a good game running the ball against Indy but I don't think they will be able to score enough points to keep up with Indy's high powered offense. Indy just has too many good receivers and one of the best QB's in the league. They seem to score points so quickly at home. If KC gets behind early its going to be very hard for them to score enough points running the ball. If that happens watch out. Indy wins BIG! Then of course Manning will choke in the next round.
