  • Help me out guys

I just suffered probably my worst loss ever as a better.......If any of you watched the Boise/okla game you know what I mean. I had okla down to a pick to complete a teaser....After returning an int for a touch with 1:10 left I figured I had a win....Then a 4th and 18 with 17 seconds left boise completes a pass short of the first down sticks but pulls a lateral out of their asses and takes it to the house to force OT....first play in ot a peterson scores then boise scores on a 4th and 2 and decides to go for two and for the win and of course, they get it on a statue of liberty play.....

I lost 2 grand on that bullshit and the way I lost that shit is absolutely demoralizing

if any of you have a lock let me know please cuz I want to break even and my confidence is shot right now

    please leave your input...thanks

Riz. Sorry to hear of your problem. You are not the first to find yourself in your prediciment and you won't be the last. I had Oaklahoma too at minus seven for the full game and when you thought your teaser had won, I was thinking at least my straight play pushed. I lost that play too but did play half as much on a second half bet, which gave me Oaklahoma plus 4 for the full game. Luckilly that play covered but I never thought about playing my second half bet for the same as my full game play just to get back to even. If I did, something would probally go wrong and I would be deeper in the hole.

I hate to tell you this Riz, but just as there is no Santa Claus, there is no such thing as a lock either, No matter how good someone thinks a play looks, there are too many varibles that can affect the play. Even if someone gave you a play they said can't lose, don't try to get all your money back on that one play. Don't make a bad situation worse. Just play what you can afford to lose and hopefully you will win enough plays to get back to even.

There are a lot of good cappers here and you should have no problem finding a couple to consider following. Try to find a play more than one of the good cappers here is on and that should increase your chance of winning. A lot of people here don't agree with this, but seeing peoples record, helps to find a couple of guys to follow. Good Luck Riz and remember, don't make things worse.

There's no such thing as a lock. Do yourself a HUGE favor. Don't try to win it all back with one game.

                Riz,

Spark and Frank hit it on the nose buddy. If you want some advice......... if you need to keep betting and your confidence is low, try betting small wagers until you feel good about bumping up the amount. JMO

Riz....Let me tell you a quick story. I haven't been able to hit a bet this bowl season. Been in a slump. Up til Sunday, I was down somewhere around $600.

I was making one last bet Sunday of $100 and I told my friend, "if this loses, I'm putting $700 on Michigan to get it all back. " Something I never do. But I loved Mich. I know better. Well, my $100 bet won and I decided to only put $30 on Michigan instead.

I now look back and realize, I could easily be staring at a $1400 deficit. That's NOT smart betting. A losing streak is just that. It could easily last for a while. I NEED to wait for my luck to change.

This could very well be you. Don't chase those losses. Wait for the worm to turn, then press you bets. Hope this helps. Oh,by the way, I had Boise St, so maybe my losing streak is over. I still won't press until I've won a few in a row.....Good luck

My advice...Don't double down...cause you will go down, maybe not this game but it will eventually get you.
