P.s. Did A Tally On Everyones Picks On 4 Other Forums And 31 Of 34 (31-3 !!!!) People Have Picked Washington To Cover Which Is An Astounding Number. Initially When I Saw This I Wanted To Go The Other Way And Play The G-men, But Then The Above Theory Played Out In My Head.

last year, went to the skins game against the giants on christmas day.... skins blew them out.. but a few weeks before that, im sure you remember that the giants shut out the skins (i think 42-0?)

im all over the skins. even though you have a team that has 'nothing' to play for, you still have to evaluate some of the players on the team such as betts, campbell, their defensive players, and of course joe gibbs.

From a betting stand point if the Giants win then 5 games will be turned upside down on Sunday. Lines like Chi -3 will change to -7.

Giants have done lots of things wrong. Choking wasn't one of them. How can you say they choked when they were decimated with injuries when they were sitting at 6-2? Also, coming into the season the Giants had the toughest schedule in the NFL.

The injuries took its toll early next the inner turmoil tore the team apart.

You are correct. If the Giants win GB has a very slight chance of making the playoffs. For that to happen, in addition to GB winning 5 other teams MUST win which included Detroit @ Dallas. At the same time another 3 teams MUST lose.

The Giants (7-8) are tied with Green Bay, Carolina, Atlanta and St. Louis for the final NFC wild-card berth. However, New York currently holds that spot based on owning a tiebreaker over the Packers, who hold tiebreakers over the Panthers, Falcons and Rams.

If New York beats Washington (5-10), it then must wait for favorable results in any one of 10 Sunday games. The easiest would be if Dallas defeats Detroit, thus giving the Giants the strength of victory edge over the Packers, even if they beat the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.

In an even stranger scenario, the Giants can lose Saturday and still get in if each of the four teams they are tied with loses Sunday.
