any info on Purdue/Maryland

I am confused about this game. Please a little feedback about this game. I have seen Purdue beat no one this year except themselves. Maryland started -4 Purdue is now -1. I guess I could look and see the QB is hurt or whatever...but this forum knows!!! Would like anyone and everyones input on this.

Looked a little more into this and it seems both teams are mediocre....ok thats fine but where does the line movement come from. I am loving Maryland...liked them at -4...what because folks think the ACC sux....I still don't get this line movement.

there is very little respect for acc teams this year, my local's line is now pick um. i saw purdue put up some points on hawaii, but maryland's d is much better, and i think maryland's o won't turn the ball over. i like the under @ 52 and the hook

I like Purdue real well, as they had a young defense getting better as year went on and this is year Tiller who has taken criticism in past for not preparing hard for bowls is working his players hard. Big 10 much better than ACC here, PU by 10

Thanks Gents.. I have just seen Purdue not be able to score against tough defenses. Such as Penn State and Wisconsin.

This game makes little sense to me. Purdue is the model of inconsistent play. Tiller was whining about playing the HI game and trying to get out of it (if you commit, man up); that is some real toughness! And they ended up losing the game to boot in the last few minutes.

Purdue is offensively minded, but that defense is swiss cheese. They have a sophmore quarterback. Maryland plays ugly and wins ugly, but the defense is better imo. Plus, they have a senior qb. I don't think Hollenbach is better than Painter, just more experienced in games like this (easier to act you like you have been there when you actually have).

The comment above about Tiller working hard and taking criticism, please! This guy whined about an extra game which was scheduled well in advance. Sorry, not buying that one. Purdue has lost the last 2 bowls, Maryland won the last 3 bowl games.

This is by far not a pretty game. I think they are about even in terms of pulling of the win. The lean to Maryland comes from the seniors who want to win after missing a bowl last year. Purdue is up and coming, but just not today. I will go with the better defense. Good luck in whatever you play!

I can't tell you either way...it is an odd line movement but there have been other odd line moves...this is an ugly game...i still lean maryland, but i say take your money and spend it elsewhere...good luck in whateve you choose!
