I figured I would start the thread for those who had the over....obviously, I am joking, but I am sure some will believe it was....

Don't tell me that Steve Levy, the back-up QB for Cal, didn't have the Over 54 tonight! He calls a running play after being told to take a knee to score the TD to go over! FIX!

Maybe Antoine Walker has a kid that plays for one of the teams, Antoine is good for fixing at least 4-5 totals a year on miami games!!

You dont' just ignor to coaches call carte' blanche in that situation. Somebody with a lot at stake was prayin' hard somewhere.

I remember a few years ago the Patriots scored a late touchdown with no time left on the clock on Monday night to win the game. The Bills went to the locker room and didn't line up for the extra point. The Bledsoe took it in for two points, which effected both the spread and the total compared to just kicking an extra point.

I had money on that game Dave and I was furious because it cost me the bet. If I remember correctly, the game was in overtime. That was one of the worst losses, because, if the Bills line up for the extra point, I win the bet....Bastards

I was one of the lucky ones that benefitted from the fiasco. The game was not in OT though. The Bills had got screwed on several bad calls. One of them came on the Pat's final drive that led to the TD and win. They were so pissed they refused to line up.

I think the luckiest game I ever won was in 1985. I had the Broncos -4.5 over the Chargers. The game went into overtime which was bad for me. The Chargers won the toss which was also bad for me. San Diego marched down the field uninhibited and lined up for a 32-yard field goal. The Broncos not only blocked it but ran it back for a Touchdown to cover the 4.5-pt spread. But wait...

...there was a penalty on Denver. San Diego lined up for a 27-yard field goal. The Broncos blocked the chip shot and ran it back for a Touchdown...no flags!!!!

Probably the unluckiest one I lost was a 1986 Bears-Packers Monday nighter. I had Green Bay +12.5 at home. The Packers were leading 13-12 late in the fourth Quarter, so ten points wouldn't hurt me. The Bears scored 10 pts in the final couple of minutes. Unfortuantely they scored a safetly as well with seconds left to win 25-13 and cover by 1/2-pt.

The real pisser was that I had several local books but didn't bother to call all of them...just took the 12 1/2. I later found out that a friend of mine who books with one of my guys got it at 13 1/2. For me, it was a $2,530 swing (1330 to win 1200) because I didn't take the time to call another outlet....didn't figure they would "cross" 13 since they were both local....

i'll tell you what sucks!! i had the bearcats earlier this year against ohio state + 29, fucking tressell kicks a fucking field goal with less than a minute left to win by 30. that crumb is always looking at the number and what it will take to cover for his boosters.
