I never pass these idiot rumors around as they always turn out to be wrong but this one comes from a good source and it makes some sense.

Pete Carroll to go to Arizona with the announcement coming Jan. 4. Dennis Green certain to be canned. Carroll could command a massive payday (even more than Saban got from the Dolphins). Bidwill family finally has a cash cow in the new stadium and is frustrated with years of losing.

Carroll would be reunited with Leinart and inherits lots of offensive talent and gets to stay on the west coast. It's an ideal situation for him as he can take Ariz nowhere but up.

In interviews, Carroll has expressed frustration over the lack of talent he had when in the NFL. He may have something to prove. I give this one at least a 40% chance of happening.

He could go to another NFL team as well, but Ariz makes the most sense.

I'd be shocked if Carroll left USC. I doubt even more he'll go to this horrible franchise.

I would also be shocked if he left Southern Cal. He has a great thing going there. He basically gets to handpick from his recruits. I think it would be a mistake.
