13) Other than the Suns, best team to watch in NBA are the Wizards; they really get up and down the floor.
12) Suns are still stuck in Denver, won't get out until early in the afternoon Friday; their game Friday is 10:30 ET start, hour later than normal, so they should be OK for that. Sun-Wizard game is must see for people who like basketball.
11) Considering how Jim Mora Jr and Sr have dealt with the media, wouldn't you like to hear an interview with Mrs Mora?
10) If the Penguins leave Pittsburgh and change the nickname I need to get a Penguin hat; very cool logo. Hamilton, Ontario would be a good place for them. Or Winnipeg.
9) Jazz trailed Hawks by 21 with 10:47 left earlier this week and won; Jerry Sloan might be the most underrated coach in any sport, ever. Seriously. Who else would be on the list?
8) Alabama is being very persistent in going after Dolphins' coach Nick Saban; wonder who their Plan B is?
7) Nice effort by Oregon Thursday night. Hope they enjoyed Vegas, at least. Ugly uniforms, pathetic performance.
6) How does Tom Brady not make the Pro Bowl? How does Tony Romo play half a season and make it?
5) Simple things matter: North Texas lost 97-93 in OT earlier in week at New Orleans; they were 12-28 from foul line, and lost in overtime. Thats tough to take.
4) Raiders list Randy Moss (ankle) on the injury report. What is should say is Randy Moss (apathy).
3) Missouri Valley teams stumbled little bit this week, and as a result, dropped from #2 to #4 in conference RPI, behind the ACC, Pac-10 and SEC.
2) Georgia Tech's senior QB Ball is academically ineligible for the Gator Bowl; I wonder if he had a better senior season, if his grades would have improved any?
