I will tell you that I love BYU to win tonight but I feel that the line is not right. I won't go into the numbers because everyone probably knows but everything points to BYU especially the way they ended the season so why is it that the line is only -3? Does anyone know what the public is taking tonight? Maybe its just me but it sure smells too easy. What do you think?

I concur, it seems to easy. I loved BYU up until I saw that the line went from -6 to -3. I don't get it. BYU seems to be the much better team that finished on a strong note whereas Oregon was lucky to be there. I would think BYU would be more stoked to be in this game as I think the ducks would think this as a disappointment.
Caribsports.com has it about 56/44 in favor of BYU. ********* has it 53/47 same movement. Lastly, sportsbook.com shows it at 72/28 in favor of BYU, which is what I would expect it to mirror more of reality. Given all this, call it a small favor in bets on BYU yet the money flow is most definite on Oregon. Simple thought is that the sharps pounded the Ducks.
Given all this, I still think the Cougars are the play in the hopes that the "value" of the Ducks has been grabbed with the movement down. No bet placed yet as I am still assessing. I agree with Greek that this might be the classic trap. Good luck in whatever you play!

Thanks guys and I was thinking of the Saints vs Cowboys a few weeks ago. Payton was a coach with the Cowboys and knew them inside out. I was wondering if this could happen here since the Off. Coordinator was the head coach of NYU a few years ago.

i'm not buying it. public doesnt always lose. IE look @ mnf colts cruised to an easy victory and everyone was on them.
byu is a cover machine. 9-2ats ytd. also oregon cant be excited about playing in the las vegas bowl. plus, byu players wont be out partying in vegas, the oregon players will be. i refuse to buy into the trap here. lay the wood byu by DD
