    Toronto at Phoenix

Phoenix has tied a franchise record with 14 straight wins and looks to pick up another tonight at home against the Raptors, who are still without star Chris Bosh. But Toronto has actually won three straight without Bosh, including a win over Orlando (91-84) in its last road game. On Sunday the Raptors showed they could run with a high-octane offense when they upended Golden State (120-115) behind Morris Peterson (23 points) and T.J. Ford (21 points). While pulling off the upset of the Suns is unlikely, Toronto does look like it can take advantage of a large Vegas line (+13 1/2) according to Dunkel, which has Phoenix favored by 9 1/2. Dunkel Pick: Toronto (+13 1/2). Here are all of today's games.

                    Six-Pack for Tuesday

                    NBA Salary Edition

Knicks have the NBA's highest payroll, at $117,024,192, a mere $25,852,346 higher than any other team in the league. -- Put it this way: Knicks are paying $36,460,626 this season to guys who aren't on the Knicks. Charlotte's entire payroll is $38,032,540, and they're no worse than New York.

Hornets have only one player under contract for '09-'10 season (Morrison, at $5.3M); Knicks have six, including Curry's bad heart and Richardson's balky back, at total cost of $45,607,182. That's three years from now.

Stephon Marbury makes $17,184,875. Steve Nash makes $10,500,000. You do the math.

Carmelo Anthony's suspension will cost him $858,665.89, based on 18.3% of his $4,694,041 salary.

If you add up the payrolls of Utah and Detroit, two good teams, you get $119,508,525, $2.4M more than the Knicks.

Yes, they have articles in Maxim, and I spent some this week reading them. Here are 13 things I learned reading Maxim……

                      12) 80% of the rum consumed in this country comes from Puerto Rico.

                      11) There is a club in Las Vegas called Body English where a martini costs $1,000; it comes with diamond and ruby-topped swizzle stick. You wonder why Vegas is America's favorite city? There are no ruby-studded swizzle sticks in Ypsilanti.

                      10) Each Mercedes engine is built by one mechanic at a plant in Germany; whose signature is on a plate attached to the engine. One guy builds an engine by himself, and I need help popping the hood on my car.

                      5) In single-deck blackjack, the house has an edge of .18%; with an 8-deck shoe, their edge goes up to .43%.

                      4) The house edge on insurance bets is a whopping 7%.

                      3) Angelina Jolie, when she isn't reading this website, has built mud huts in Tanzania, detonated land mines in SE Asia and visited camps in war-torn Darfur.

                      2) Non-natives aren't allowed to own land in Tonga; instead, they lease land for 19-year increments.

                      1) Six Flags amusement park has a wooden rollercoaster with a 176-foot, 76-degree drop. I got queasy typing that sentence.
