  • TP's NCAA Hoops, 12/19

Been struggling a bit the last 15 plays or so, but anyway, here's what I'm going with for tomorrow. I'm probably going to come back and add South Florida, depending on the line when it comes out in the morning.

    NCAA Hoops (42-40-2, +2.37*)
    1* Santa Clara +9.5 (-107)
    1* Illinois Chicago +7.5 (-110)
    1* Missouri +5 (+103)
    1* Loyola Marymount -1 (-111)
    Records:

    NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
    NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
    NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
    NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
    NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

        1* South Florida +12.5 (-105)

Obviously shocked by the line movement against Santa Clara and Missouri (I expect Missouri to win that game, I can't believe they are getting 6.5/7 now). I think some people are overreacting to Kentucky's performance against Louisville (flat spot?), but Louisville just isn't a very good team, and Santa Clara has been as hot as anyone in the nation the past couple weeks.

Is this line inflated due to UNLV's upset of Nevada you think??

Absolutely, and a lot of people don't realize Fazekas wasn't healthy in that game. Also, I think there is added line value because of USF's loss last night. A lot of people saw that USF lost to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and assumed that was a terrible loss. But in reality, TAM-CC is a pretty decent team, they actually gave UNLV trouble as well. I think USF overlooked them - focusing on this game - and by the time they realized they might be in trouble, it was too late, though they did rally.
