  • Lions Throw Game Yesterday?

First, let me say that I haven't followed the Lions that closely this season. I watched the shortcut of this game yesterday because I was interested in why Roy Williams had only one catch for fantasy.

There were two occasions during this game where Martz called a QB sneak with Kitna on a 3rd down and approximately 5 yards. Those don't sound like the normal Martz play calls. He has his eye on Quinn and will not be denied?

Anyone know what the tiebreaker is for first pick? OAK and DET have not played this year.

    Throw the game????

I hope so, we need some WR's

I also have the Lions under 6.5 wins for the season.

    Not sure about the tiebreaker.

Chargers scored when ever CHiefs score.

Guys, really just too hard to pull it off. Team giving away games. Not with this many players and attention.

If you keep believing this, the you better quit betting and go for a walk.

I really don't think that the Lions are trying to lose games-THEY'RE JUST THAT BAD. I watch every play of every lions game and despite their pathetic play they seem to still give a decent effort each week. Also, if Marinelli and Martz wanted to lose games then why would they still have their starting QB Kitna starting these meaningless games down the stretch. The Lions have 2 young QB's in McCown and Orlovsky that could use playing time at this point. The 3rd down plays when Kitna ran were audibles by him at the line because GB only had 3 men on the line. The Lions are horrible but to accuse them of throwing games is absurd.
