Hawaii Bowl, in Honolulu.......

Hawaii RainBows from the Wac vs Az St SunDevils from the Pac 10.....Line is Hawaii -7 and total is set at 72 (at this time)

RainBows are 10-3 and Sun Devils are 7-5.......Devils played the harder schedule, and based on performance (records), this evens out....

SunDevils lost to
Calif 21-49
Oreg 13-48
USC 21-28
Oreg St 10-44
UCLA 12-24......in their five losses they avg giving up over 39 ppg........

Hawaii is a scoring machine, and lost to the following
Ala 17-25 first game of season
Boise St 34-41---good Bowl Team
Oregon St 32-35.....Az St lost to em 10-44....

Hawaii can score on anyone, and their defense is so so...not much to speak of.......Az St has the better D, but won't be able to stop this scoring Machine, or match em........

They may swap points for a while, but the more consistent scoring machine is Hawaii......I feel by games end, Hawaii will be up by 42-24.............

First of all lets look at the Conferences.........CMU from the MAC, and MTSU from the SunBelt......both won their conferences......

MTSU avgs 137 ypg on the ground, while CMU yields about the same, 131 ypg, and CMU has a weak pass defense, yielding 211 ypg, MTSU does not have the passing profeciency to take advantage of this.......CMU will use their LineBackers Keith and Kress......CMU as a team forced 27 turnovers, and 28 sacks.......Keith had 117 tackles, and Kress 102, but the name to look for is BAZUIN, he's anchored this line for 3 seasons, and this year has 12 1/2 tackles for losses, and 8 1/2 sacks........advantage CMU

I see CMU stacking the line, and asking MTSU to pass, and when they do, its gonna be rough.....If MTSU gets behind, they don't have the fire power to stay with CMU.......

Providing the CMU Chippewaus don't turn it over foolishly, the MTSU Blue Raiders are out manned here........anything can happen, but here's the way I see it............
