900-Unit NFL Max Bet Game of the Week - N.Y. JETS

The Jets blew an opportunity to establish themselves as a playoff factor last week, falling to Buffalo 31-13. Sitting at 7-6, this is an absolute must-win for the Jets and they face a Vikings team that has been extremely unpredictable all season.

With three games left, New York trails the Patriots by two games in the race for the AFC East and trail Cincinnati and Jacksonville by one game in the wild-card race.

Minnesota sits at 6-7 and still alive for an NFC wild-card spot, but the Vikings have played their worst against some of the worst teams in the NFL, falling to San Francisco, Green Bay and Miami, all teams with a sub-.500 record.

Jets QB Chad Pennington has thrown a career-high 15 INTs this season and has admitted he has to take better care of the ball if they are going to make the playoffs.

The Jets have won five straight against the Vikings and are 6-1 overall against Minnesota. New York has also won two straight on the road and is playing better football away from the Big Apple.

Pennington will find WR Laveraneus Coles for a couple TDs today and the Jets will get the job done against the Vikings. New England showed the way to beat the Vikings is to throw the ball and the Jets will have the right game plan in place.

I love taking teams in must-win situations. And that's just what the Jets are in today and they have a better team than Minnesota. So take the better team in the do-or-die situation.

            Play New York today.

100-Unit NFL Bookie Buster - BUFFALO BILLS

Both teams still think they have a shot at the playoffs, but let's be honest, neither one really does. Both squads beat division opponents last week with the Bills downing the Jets and the Dolphins blanking the Patriots.

Buffalo went to Miami on Sept. 17 and got a 16-6 victory despite being held to 171 total yards. The Bills don't have a high-powered offense as they rank 30th in the league at just 258.8 yards a game. Last week they did gain 318 total yards and scored a season-high 31 points against the Jets.

Buffalo has owned the Dolphins in Buffalo, winning four of the last five meetings and six of the last nine at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Miami has gotten great play from its defense all season, but sporadic play from the offense. With the weather conditions expected to be freezing in Buffalo today, look for more sporadic play from the Dolphins' offense.

Even in the 21-0 win over the Patriots, QB Joey Harrington threw for just 190 yards and one TD. And his propensity to throw horrible interceptions, into double and triple coverage, will cost him today.

Play Buffalo today as they'll frustrate the Dolphins' offense and put up enough points to get the win and cover. Look for a low-scoring 14-6 win for the Bills

100-Unit NFL Bottom Feeder Blowout - ST. LOUIS RAMS

I know this is a battle between two teams that have more or less quit on the season, but when you get teams like this, the offenses usually dominate, and we all know the Raiders just don't have any offense.

The Rams fell 42-27 Monday night to the Bears but showed they can still move the ball and put up points. The Raiders lost to the Bengals last week extending their losing skid to six. And in those six contests they have failed to score more than 14 points. This offense is pathetic.

The Raiders are last in the league with 243.3 yards per game and 31st in scoring with 12 points a game. They have been playing solid defense but with absolutely no hope, expect that to change today as the Rams throw the ball all over the field.

Rams' QB Marc Bulger has fond memories of the Raiders as that's who he made his first start against, throwing three TDs and no INTs in his first start. Last week he looked sharp, too, throwing for 356 yards, three TDs and one INT.

And honestly, without two kick returns for TDs Monday night, the Rams were right there with the Bears. St. Louis can still move the ball and will do so at will today. Play the Rams in this one.

            Sunday night's winner...
300-Unit NFL Sunday Night Special - SAN DIEGO CHARGERS

There's just no stopping this San Diego team right now. Everything is going their way, rushing, passing, defense and special teams.

Now the Chiefs come into San Diego after dropping a home game last week to Baltimore. The Chargers have the revenge factor working since Kansas City beat them earlier this year in Kansas City.

San Diego dominated AFC West rival Denver 48-20 last week and RB LaDanian Tomlinson is having a record-setting season with the TD record in his pocket already he shoots for the points record, as he's got 174 already, just two behind the NFL record set in 1960.

And expect him to come out strong tonight since K.C. held him to 66 yards on 15 carries last time these two teams met.

San Diego is looking for home-field advantage throughout the playoffs and will at least clinch a first-round by with a win over the Chiefs on Monday. And at home, the Chargers are 6-0 this season and winning by an average of 16.5 points a game.

San Diego has won 12 of its last 16 division games and is getting outstanding play from QB Philip Rivers and the entire defense.

Kansas City looked very bad against Baltimore last week and now face the Chargers, who they have lost six of the last eight meetings. Let's go with the red-hot team today. Play the Chargers.
