a few years back in vegas, my buddy shows me a pretty big betting slip on Navy for college football. i asked him why he bet them so big, since he never mentioned liking the game, nevermind to take it for as much as he did. he told me that i should be 'more aware' of the 'signs' around me. i ask wtf was he talking about, and he said that the guy in front of us on the plane had a navy hat on, and it was a 'sign' of who to play when we got there. then i ask why he didn't tell me, and he said he didn't want to ruin/jinx the sign since i didnt pick up on it.

needless to say navy rolled to an easy cover, and he cashed his biggest play of the week.

My biggest story of the year was week 6 of the nfl.Monday night football.Chicago verses Arizona chicago i think was like an 11 pt favorite and the moneyline was i think +450.Put 100 on the moneyline Arizona to win plus the point spread.Halftime Arizona leads 20 to nothing and Grossman threw like 4 interceptions 2nd half Arizona comes out running the damn ball and loses the game 24-23 won the point spread but was sure counting my $$$$$$$.

On a related note in my fantasy league for football i was winning by 1 pt and the other guy had nobody playing in this game so thought i had won.I had Grossman still to play thought about benching him but thought i need the points in case of a tie at te end of the season.Plus this guy was the league loudmouth so i talked all kind o smack to him tellin him i beat him and was going to beat him even worse after grossman throws 4 td passes.Ends up grossman got -5 pts for me and i ended up losing that week.
