Hawks captain Joe Johnson will miss his second straight game Tuesday night against Denver at Philips Arena, nursing the sore right calf muscle he strained last week.
Johnson missed the Hawks’ Sunday night loss in Sacramento, ending his NBA-best consecutive regular season games played streak at 376.
Hawks coach Mike Woodson said Johnson won’t play in Wednesday’s game against the Knicks in New York and might also miss Friday’s game against the Grizzlies in Memphis.
“My hope is that he’ll be ready to go in time for the [Memphis] game,” Woodson said after the Hawks’ shootaround practice Tuesday morning. “But we’re not going to rush him at all. We can’t afford to do anything else.”

Folks - Sacramento is playing good ball right now better than GS. I will take them:
Sacramento +1 1/2 First Half
