Pittsburgh/Washington over 6.5 -- $131 to win $100 -- Almost bet the Salami Over, too, but if this game doesn't go Over, then I could be screwed with both bets...The last 6 h2h meetings have gone Over, and the last 4 meetings were all 9's...WAS Over 6 straight overall after going Under 9 of 10 in regulation...Should be wide open hocky, so if we can get a 3-3 tie, then I am golden here...

New York Rangers -0.5 (regulation time) -- $112 to win $100 -- This Philly team is so banged up it is ridiculous...Saw on the local news where they had to bring up Phantoms players just to have enough guys for practice yesterday...Their injury list looks like an NFL injury list...Forsberg is out...The Rangers have responded well to that Home loss vs. the Isles, winning 3 straight...I'll taake the healthy team here who seems to have turned the corner after that tough loss to the isles where they basically dominated them but got bad goaltending...

Detroit Red Wings -0.5 (regulation time) -- $102 to win $100 -- Remember that Dominic Hasek was let go by Ottawa in the offseason...They cut him loose and picked up Martin Gerber...And daniel Alredsson is doubtful and this is huge as Ottawa is struggling without him, getting bet badly in 3 straight games...DET has been spotty at best since since winning 9 straight, but have won 5 of their last 6 now...

Atlanta Thrashers -- $114 to win $100 -- ATL is rested and ANA is not, and the Ducks are playing their 4th game in 6 days, all on the Road...ATL 2-1 when they have rest and their opponents do not and haven't had this spot in 7 weeks...Chart-play against ATL, but after 2 straight losses, they should be motivated for this game as this is a big one between 2 of the 3 elite teams in the league...ANA has played some tough teams on this Road trip and ATL may be catching them in the perfect spot being in bounce-back mode and they have 3 days rest here...

Pittsburgh Penguins -1.5 -- $100 to win $121 -- This Philly team is really banged up...Big-time...The coach can spin it all he wants and say that there are no excuses, but when you have several Phiily Phantoms' players suiting up for NHL games, it is hard to win...PITT hasn't had a game where they were rested and their opponets were not in 7 weeks, also...PITT has won all 4 games vs. Philly this year and 3 of those games were by at least 2 goals...

Bets:

New Jersey/Boston over 5.5 -- $108 to win $100 -- Scott Clemmensen is in Net for NJ and this is CONFIRMED as I had to wait for the NJ pre-game show to make sure, therefore the late post...He is from Boston or at least played his college hockey there for sure and played against BOS twice last year, winning both games, 4-2 and 5-4 in OT...Martin Brodeur had played 22 straight games and you cannot tell me Clemmensen will not have some rust here...These teams just played 5 days ago at NJ and it was a 5-1 score...BOS Over 5 of their last 6 although 1 was OT-aided...
