Wayne, just like last Sunday night, you're basically the only person I see on Seattle, and although last Sunday's game was against a much better opponent, I just don't understand the position of "everyone" taking AZ in this spot...what am I missing?

I don't know and i'm not going to try and "Overthink" it either. Alexander and Hasselbeck are back and looking better each week. They are also in a 3 way tie for the 2nd seed and bye week in the playoffs. The 2 teams they are tied with (Dallas, N.O.) are playing each other. I don't think this is a spot where they want to trip up. I'm willing to take my chances here with the much better and proven team that has the motivation to win. Motivation to win and desperation to win are clearly different. Seattle is relaxed and in control of their Division either way and not desperate to win just to secure a playoff spot. Would i be shocked if Arizona Won? No, but i'm not going against a Seattle team that's on a roll at the right time of the year either!

no way man...I know you guys don't really look at other cappers when you make your picks (or at least that's what you say, lol), but if you just look a little, you'll see what I mean...and I was also referring to a place with service tallies, and every dink had AZ as a play, didn't see one Seattle...maybe I, myself, am overthinking this one?

I honestly have NO CLUE who ANYONE else has. I never look at people's plays because i don't want it in any way to influence mine. Even after my plays are posted, i usually go on to doing my pools and such and don't really ever see what others are on. Even if i did, it wouldn't affect who i like any.

lol, obviously you have confidence in your picks and that's the way to do it...damnit, Wayne, why can't we all have those same powers...lol

True Story Jimmy. When i was 18-25 and the internet wasn't nearly as popular, i used to follow every tom, dick and harry that loved a play. I would watch all the Pro Line shows and call up numbers out of rotation books left and right for those TOP FREE plays. I was crazy and would follow blindly thinking that they had to know more than me. I literally lost my A$$!!!

About 10 years ago when everybody pretty much had a computer in their house i decided it was either time to quit gambling OR ... Use the computer i had and take the time to research the wagers i make before i made them. Half the plays i made, i didn't really like but i was just following others and i hated losing those games because i didn't feel good about it going in.

Now, i look at each and every game in all sports and i only wager on it if i've found reasons to in my searches over the net and at the multiple sites i look at. It takes ALOT more time but it is also way more self rewarding when you do it and it pays off. Now when i place a wager, i feel good about every play i make and if it loses i don't kick myself for it because i feel like i did my homework and it just didn't work out. It has also kept me in the game financially and the last 10 years have been by far my best gambling. I seem to always keep my head above water capping my own and as much as i respect others cappers here, i try not to let them influence my plays any. It's not because i don't trust them, i just need to stick with what i like because i put the time in for a reason and i (quite honestly) don't know how others even come up with their plays and i've ....... "Been there, done that" before buddy!

It all sounds too familiar Wayne except I gave up on the 1-800numbers and switched to BC...lol...I have gotten better in recent months, but I, like you, have lost my a$$ over the past 7 or so years so hopefully 2007 (with a little more discipline will be better)
