We won in both College Basketball and NBA last night. Tonight we feature three NBA plays and three College baskets selections.
Game: Houston at Charlotte (7:05 PM Eastern)
Pick: Charlotte +5.5
No one wants a piece of the Bobcats right now as they share the worst record in the NBA with Memphis. Houston, winners of six of eight, can't help but take them a bit lightly. While the Rockets are winning, they are not covering the spread. They have only covered in three of their last eleven games. The public, enamored with their solid record and the Ming/McGrady duo, continues to overvalue them, providing line value on their opponents. Charlotte hasn't really been awful at anything in particular. They are just below average on everything. Houston is a very different team on the road. They are 8-1 at home but just 4-5 on the road. Their defense gives up over 5 more ppg away from home. They are just 16-28 ATS as a favorite the past two seasons. We'll take the home dog with the points.
