I kind of support Iverson here. It's really not a good situation eitehr way. AI knows the end of his prime is near and he will never win a championship in Philly. Time for him to move on to a contender.

Originally posted by LVJimmyYes, Iverson has done a few things off the court to lessen his credibility, but he plays harder than any player in the NBA. In a league where players are constantly show-boating and giving half-ass effort, this has to count for something. I hope he goes to a good team with a legit shot to make a title run because I think AI still has a lot left.

Living near the Philly area, I have a strong opinion on this (have had it since they resigned him 3 years ago).
Positives for AI
AI does play hard EVERY night.
Fans love TO watch AI, although the Sixers have been struggling with ticket sales the past 2 years.
NEGATIVES
AI is not a 2 guard and shoots too much to play the point.
AI DOMINATES the ball and other players can not play with him. (Just ask Stackhouse, Larry Hughes and now Webber)
AI is a coach killer - he does not practice and you cant win without that.
He makes way too much money ($40 million).
As you can see, I do not think that AI is a winner. Trade him and let the youbg guns (Little AI, Willie Green and whover he gets traded for) show what they have.Am I the longest tenured BC member?
