Brady Quinn is a better QB then Troy Smith is...there is nor should be no question in that.

However the Heisman is not who the best QB is, it's who the best player is so to speak.

And there is no doubt that what Troy Smith did this year in helping/leading his team to the national championship game is deserved of the award.

But please please please don't try and tell me that Troy Smith is a better QB then Quinn.

no question at all quinn better qb?? i think most woulda said leinart better "qb" than young before they were drafted and look what they done so far in nfl, young is playin better....quinn throws a better ball?? id have to agree maybe as far as readin D and strong arm but smith has a good arm and makes playes w/ feet and has played better in big games...so what is a better "qb" as u say what has quinn showed hes no question better

I will say that when Quinn is drafted in the 1st round top 3 (maybe higher depending on who has the picks and what they're needs are) but he will be the 1st quarterback picked.

I will say that when Quinn is drafted in the 1st round top 3 (maybe higher depending on who has the picks and what they're needs are) but he will be the 1st quarterback picked.

If your an NFL team who's offense is nothing like Ohio State's offense is...but is 100% similar to what Notre Dame runs...do you still take Troy Smith because he's done better at Ohio State???

No, you sure don't. You take the player that best fits YOUR needs as a team, not the player that did the best for that particular college team.

There are reasons that there are countless number of GREAT college quarterbacks, even award winners that are sitting at Walmart bagging pulling carts.

Now I'm not saying Troy Smith won't be drafted, but to honestly say that Troy Smith brings more to the table then Brady Quinn is just beyond me IMHO.

They say he may be moved to RB or WR ala Michael Robinson from Penn State last year.

if your judging smith by his height quinn is 5"11 by the way...smith will win this and prove he can play in the nfl, quinn will be like david carr IMO he will be placed on a team with a horrible line and horrible situation and struggle getting sacked and pressured all day long
