  • Canes Hire Shannon to Take Over

and quite frankly, I think it's a brutal move. Since Davis left, their offense has hit the shitter so why would you hire a defensive coordinator?

Im torn on this.. I like the move because Shannon is the guy that the players wanted to be their coach.. Im not so happy about it because now we have to go and get another defensive cordinator when we need an offensive cordinator.. Its about time they listen to the kids and give them someone that they want..

Can we get a good O Coordinator and QB? As much as people didn't like him in college, Dorsey was a stud at Miami. How can we continue to have brutal QBs?

I agree.. Dorsey and Toretta were both studs.. Since then we have been shit under center.. I honestly think Wright has the tools to get it done and could have been a great College QB IF we had a Offensive Coordinator..

But can he recruit? Because right now evil Coach Urban Meyer (CUM as he is referred to on the Dawg site) is cleaning up in-State. Also, Bowden is done. He will not beat Florida again as FSU head coach.

I think this is the only move UM could make....they couldn't stand to be embarrassed each time a coach passed on the gig, and Shannon knows the program and the area. I'm not saying it will be instant success, but it's a start.
