Los Angeles Kings -- $54 to win $50 -- The Kings are rested and Nashville is not, and even though Nashville has a good bk-2-bk record, remember, they had Tomas Vokuhn for some of those games...Tonight, it's either Chris Mason or Michael Leighton in Net and LA has been playing much better recently, so I am willing to throw the trends out the window here a bit and take the team playing a little bit better here as NASH has suddenly lost 3 straight as not having Vohkun may be having an effect...I cut the bet back again because I just don't trust the inconsistent LA Kings...

Like a lot in the NHL tonight and am basically hoping for a 4-3 night or even a 3-4 night should net a small profit...

Bets:

Tampa Bay Lightning -- $100 to win $115 -- The Lightning just destroyed the Thrashers 8-0 and now catch Anaheim off a game last nigth and Anaheim is 2-3 in this spot this season...TB being in a super-strong division has them a bit under-rated IMO...TB 2-1 when they rest and their opponents do not at Home...

Boston Bruins -- $63 to win $50 -- Fading NJ here as Clemmensen is supposed to be in Net tonight for the Devils and Boston is playing well, winning 5 of 6...NJ is 1-4 in back-enders this season...

Pittsburgh Penguins -- $50 to win $91 -- Simply a chart-play against the Thrashers, who had won 7 straight before losing 8-0 at TB last time out...Pitt is struggling a bit, but this game should be wide-open and if Fleury can have a solid game, the Pens have a shot to win here and this price is nice...

Florida Panthers -- $50 to win $80 -- The Panthers are also severely under-rated IMO, as they dominated Buffalo last time out, out-shooting them 38-18...Isles have lost 2 straight after an emotional win at MSG, and the Isles were badly outshoit in that game...Again, the price is right here and Auld has been hot in Net for Florida...

San Jose Sharks -1.5 -- $50 to win $82 -- Chris Mason won't keep playing well forever, and Nashville goes for their second night in a row...SJ is 4-2 when rested while their opponents are on back-enders and I expect the Sharks to bounce back here after 2 straight losses...

Columbus Blue Jackets -- $60 to win $50 -- Fredrick Norrena has 2 straight shutouts for Columbus as this team is starting to play well under new coach Ken Hitchcock...STL is bad, and they are supposedly playing Jason Bacasshihua in Net, who played well against Detroit last time out but still lost...Taking the team with the momentum here...

Colorado Avalanche -0.5 -- $50 to win $63 -- Dan Cloutier supposed to be in Net for the Kings...Enough said...
