  • Bull vs. Bearish

We see that Olympic [ aka the "greek" ] has posted a +2 for the airplane players today , and numbers show a distinct edge for a another blow-out here.

    L.A. / Braves ------- 177/285
    Milw. / Expos ------- 233/287
    St. Lou. / Mets ------- 297/193
    S.F. / Reds ----------- 249/248
    Colo. / Pitt. ----------- 214/197
    Astros / Fla. ---------- 241/252
    S.D. / Philly ----------- 229/238
    D-Backs / Cubs ------- 214/225
    Boston / Balt. -------- 290/244
    Tigers / Twins -------- 197/249
    D-Rays / K.C. --------- 210/279
    W-Sox / Seattle ------ 205/225
    Yanks / A`s ----------- 323/242
    Jays / Halos ---------- 295/252
    Clev. / Texas --------- 239/291

    Totals = Roadies [ 3613] Homeies [ 3707 ]

Based on the pitchers or lack there of we will be on the Home-side today at a minus 2 [***] there are several o/u `s out there today also that should skate to the bank.

    Atl. 9.5 [over]
    W-sox 8 [over]

    Football tid-bit : K.C. / G.B. = OVER 7.5 in the 4th quarter

Anybody aware that the Braves are on pace to score 934 runs this year ? Last year they scored 708 [ 10th ] , they should get there by the 123rd. game [ and they said Sheffield couldnt get it done ! ]

I'm not sure I follow here, should we be looking at the team with the smaller number by it to play or play the one with the highest number by it? Thanks for your efforts.
    Good luck!

You are welcome and I guess I thought everyone knew the way I arrive at these numbers , my mistake !

The 1st. set is the away teams number of runs scored " on the road "

The 2nd. set is the home teams number of runs scored at " home "

Hope this helps and sheds a little light on the subject ?

          Thanks for the info again!

Great stuff M&M and this time I am able to get on the -2 total!!

          Speaking of totals!!

4 - 3 DODGERS IN THE FIRST INNING AND IT'S NOT OVER YET!

4 walks, a hit batsman and only 1 hit in the first for the Braves and they have the bases loaded again.

9 1/2 LOOKING RATHER SOUND RIGHT NOW!

I've played the Braves, White Sox and Twins overs almost all week between the three of them and they have been gold!

          Best of Luck GoldV

            G.V.

            Good luck and thanks again , hope we are on the right side of things and want to add a few games in the mix ;

            Ari. / Cubs --- under 7.5

            Yanks / A`s ---- under 8

            Clev. / Texas ------ over 10.5

We been running at a fairly decent clip as of late [ past 2 weeks ] and sporting a hefty winning % on sides and totals [ something like 35-6 [ 22 in a row during that span ] Philly gave me a blimish last nite but won the other 4 .

I really like that last over

in the Texas game! Dickey should get tagged like I thought Roney for Detroit would today (Roney never even saw the end of the thrid inning but now that darn Knuckleballer Sparks is in) but Texas should pretty much have thier way with Anderson as well. I also have Texas on my card but have not posted a strength on it so will wait a little.

I am going to lay some lumber to the Cubs over 7.5 as I see the line has moved up again now at +110 and this is the WIZ's total of the year. I also remember Clement going totally wild in an inning for no reason which always has been his M.O. sandwiched between stellar starts and that bullpen is not good.

AWESOME record you have going!! Post those winners when you get time!!

The GiantS/Reds game may be a fun one to watch tonight as well. The Giants should come get one from the Reds with "Farmer Haney" on the mound for Cin but this may slide over the total as well as SF is "DUSTIN" of Hemanson for a start. THAT WAS BAD....Sorry!

              BEST OF LUCK!!

                  Tough Day Ahead

Tonights action offers very little in the way of mismatches to say the least . After looking over all the numbers and stats I see nothing that jumps off the pages at me.

                  Minn. [ Radke 5.12 ] road-runs = 238
                  Balt. [ Moss 4.70 ] home-runs = 244
                  o/u = 9 Balt. - 110
Outlook : Balt. scores far more on the road this year , Minn. a wee-bit less [ we look for a under here ]

                  Bluejays [ Lidle 5.81 ] road-runs = 295
                  D-Rays [ Zambrano 4.39 ] home-runs = 239
                  o/u = 10 PK.
Outlook : this is a strange game to match , Zambrano is thier best pitcher and throws better at home , not touching this one [ we look for a rare under in a Toronto game ]

                  K.C. [ Hernandez 3.42 ] road-runs = 252
                  W-Sox [ Garland 4.48 ] home-runs = 262
                  o/u/ = 9.5 Chicago - 145
                  Central Division - K.C. [ 32-14 ]..... W-Sox [ 29-24 ]
Outlook : talk about your hot-potato , this one has many implications , Chicago is a better run producer at home and a bit warm as of late on the other hand K.C. has alot to play for here too and scores as well on the road as at home ? [ we look for a under here as well ]

                  Olympic - 1/2 homeies :
Thinking here is a Bluejay outburst could put the roadies over the hump , but we are not toughing a one of these games tonight !

                  p.s. good-luck !
