Why does Southern Miss. Look so easy tonight. Am I missing something. The beat Houston once already right. Now they are getting 5.5 points Hmmmm. Somebody talk me out of this one before I drop the hammer. I also like the over.

I'll try. The first score was very misleading, as USM's 4-point win wasn't indicative of how the game was played. Houston outgained them by 100 yards, and averaged 6.5 yards per play while USM averaged only 5.0 ypp.
That game was in Southern Miss, this one is in Houston. Houston has one of the biggest HFA's in C-USA - and they have beaten two teams better than Southern Miss (Oklahoma State by 9 and Tulsa by 17) already on this field. The home team is 7-2 ATS in this series.
    Records:

    NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
    NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
    NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
    NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
    NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

Houston is tough at home but you never know what Houston team is going to show up. Southern Miss in years past has been a good postseason/bowl team. I personally like the over the most. I see a similar score to last time.

After the Southern Miss game, Houston started giving RB Anthony Alridge more carries and reducing Jackie Battle's role. Alridge averages more than 11 yards/carry and more than 14/reception and he'll break at least one 50+ run tonight. Houston is also looking like they'll sell out Robertson stadium for the first time in forever and they'll be looking to send out Kolb with a bang.

Houston is the one to beat----it's theirs to lose.......Better team at seasons end.....they came on strong....kapt

The way they handled Tulsa is my reason for picking Houston.....better offense.......IMO
