Let's settle it this way and make USC go to Ohio St on Senior day and see when it's all said and done if they stay within 3 of the Buckeyes. No fucken way!

It's not like Ohio St wanted them to score. The fact remains that Michigan needed a TD and an onside kick to have a chance and the Fucken Ohio St COULD NOT stop them. Michigan failed with the onside and it was game. I can't believe i even have to debate your quote because your argument is really senseless when you actually think about it.
Yeah, really senseless......... Michigan NEVER HELD THE LEAD after the 6 minute mark in the 1st Quarter. The game wasn't as close as the score would say. Bottom line is that Michigan loses by 11, no one says rematch. They lose by 3, and they deserve another shot.

Like i said, how well did USC do at Oregon St??? Did they score SEVERAL times late to make it close? Yes or no?

Scoring late happens every week in most games. Why is that held against Michigan??? Senseless? NO DOUBT!

USC NEVER LEAD ONCE @ Oregon St. At least Michigan went up 7-0

          What is your point again?

I'm not holding it against Michigan!

What I am saying is that if they lose by 11 and not 3, nobody is talking about a rematch.

Also, the game was nowhere near as close as people tend to think it was.

And if USC loses by 20 @ Oregon St instead of 3 maybe the same can be said about them too ... but neither team did so again, WHY try to use that against Michigan? It is the weakest argument i've ever heard in this BCS talk and that's why.

It was a HELL of alot closer than USC losing by a 33-7 score late in the 3rd at Oregon St

usc/oregon st has nothing to do with the arguments being made in this thread.

--the general sentiment is that michigan should play ohio st again because they played them to within 3 in ohio st.

--- i am arguing that the game wasn't as close as the score indicated, and that without a late td, these same people wouldn't be arguing for michigan at all.

I think if USC beats UCLA than they deserve a shot @ USC because of the Non Conference schedule. With that said, don't give me a late TD by Michigan that they NEEDED at the time as the crap that puts them out of the hunt. It's seriously ridiculous!

I think the point that USC lost in the beginning of the year and Mich lost to Ohio St at the end of the year is the most valid to why USC jumped Mich in the polls. It has been this way for longest time. I can remember several instances where it's a matter of when you lose.....

I agree but don't give me the bullshit about a late TD. Ohio St's defense was on the field and Michigan scored. Those are the facts.

I listened and counter pointed it. Saying what you said is flat out stupid. I'm sorry but it is and USC did much worse at what you said Michigan did. That's the bottom line
