Oregon St @ Hawaii

I caught the line at Pinnacle this AM @ Hawaii -7.5

I'm planning on UNLOADING on this game for a couple of reasons. First of all, I think there's at a least a TD worth of value in the line because of the close Hawaii win and OSU's current play in the PAC-10. Second, I think Hawaii's D matches up much better with OSU's offense than it did with Purdue. Third, Matt Moore, who has been very careful with the ball in their current win streak, is about ready to turn the ball over a couple of times.

OSU's conservative, pro-style offense will be much easier for Hawaii to defend than Purdue's spread attack. Hawaii's defensive strength is up the middle..... they're weak on the corners. OSU may test them, but their game is run the ball and don't make mistakes. Glanville will stop the run and throw a variety of blitzes at the immobile Moore, forcing a couple of mistakes.

The offense will put up points, count on it. Brennan will either tie or break the TD record in this game and Hawaii will beat another BCS conference team. They've been tested the way they haven't been since the Boise game and they FINISHED the game..... they'll be playing with confidence and emotion..... don't expect a letdown for this game.

gave up a lot of coin on hawaii this week, but it was an unbelievable game. can't always be on the winning side of a bet, sorry to those that loss on hawaii also, but that was only hawaii's 3rd loss against the number this year. i'll be on them again, but back to my $100 play. GL lanai

Spiccolli....Hawaii most definitely belongs in the top 25. They have players on that team that will no doubt be playing on Sunday mornings. I've watched them live and been on the field when they decimated Fresno State. They're for real. They should have beat Boise St and would if the game was played now. Boise St beat the hell out of Oregon St.....Good luck Lanai!

Thanks for the well wishes gang! Should be a great game and an emotional one for the Hawaii O-line..... position coach Mike Cavanagh went to OSU 2 years ago and left all the players he recruited and coached which includes the 3 senior starters on the O-line. Hawaii C and team captain Samson Satele said he and the boys are looking to exact a measure of "friendly" revenge on Coach Cav by taking it out on the OSU D..... he's saying they will have their most physical, dominant game of the season. They want to show him what he left and that they've gotten better since he left.

OK, so guess Boise State could beat hell out of USC (and let's just say Ohio State too). WTF does the BCS know anyway? Hawaii really pounded a solid Alabama team earlier FWIW(!) Normally I like Hawaii, but was in the minority last week with Purdue +20 (not a good team that Hawaii beat by 7 points). Oregon State won't be "swooning" to the Waikiki beat...Oregon isn't that far away, and they are a solid, physical team that will be motivated by Hawaii's trash talking.
