Thank you, A&M Aggies for giving the Sooners a shot!!! OU needs to beat Pickens State in Stillwater to go to the Big 12 Championship game in KS City next week. I really want to play the Sooners and the over. But I make it a practice never to bet on a bedlam game. Weird shit happens in that game. You'd think the Sooners have extra incentive now, and that's true. Truth is the Pokes have extra incentive, as well...a chance to spoil the Sooners' conference championship hopes and bring em down a notch in the bowl picture.

So I think I'll play these two instead:

    Clemson -5
    Kansas Jayhawks +7.5

    Good luck today.

    CFB Record: 26-23

You are right about weird shit happening in this game. Ive been to 3 of them. Im going to bet OU with this small number. I really like this game alot. OU has the edge on both sides of the ball. OU should be able to run and control this game. The only edge for OSU is the matchup of their receivers against the OU secondary. This is where OU could have problems otherwise with all of the players OU should Cover this game!!This is a great spot in my opinion!!

john, your assessment is right on about the Cowboys' receivers against the OU secondary being OSU's only matchup edge. Bobby Reid's performance will determine whether OSU can exploit that matchup edge. I sure hope OU's defense continues to play as well as they have been playing. And I think OU's offensive line has improved so much over the course of the season. They should control the line of scrimmage when OU has the ball. Hopefully that edge will help keep Reid, Bowman and company off the field. As I typed that last sentence I was waffling on my over lean, obviously.
