Whoever wins that game has the trophy & claim. Unfortunately, because OSU plays 50 days after last game, hard to say if they can play w/ same intensity...just too much time off or between games.
Ask anyone in any sport, they take off 50 days between reg season & then go play in biggest game of life, is there a drop in performance?? I think so.
It happened in 1996. FSU beat Florida during the regular season. Florida crushed FSU in their bowl matchup. The irony is FSU won the first matchup at home by 3

Not much difference between being of 51 days and 37 days.
No, not at all. I'm just saying the the difference with be negligible when compared against the days off of their opponent.
Maybe, but I'm saying we are not getting the best of the best. For either side and maybe enough from one side that it's a shame that we cannot see teams play at their peak versus over rested and rusty.
I'm sure it'll be a good game regardless...just don't like the time off.
