I went 2-1 Sunday in the NFL to finish the weekend 6-1 pro/college combined. This week's card looks real good and I'm starting with the Tuesday game which should be played ASAP as the line is already moving significantly.
1* Toledo -5 1/2
Two teams from northwestern Ohio on national TV on a Tuesday night and both stink. Well, actually only Bowling Green stinks. Toledo merely has a mild odor. BG actually managed to lose its home finale last week to Miami of Ohio. Nobody loses to Miami of Ohio. Miami's only other win was to Buffalo! Toledo is only 4-7 but has played much better down the stretch including a win at Northern Illinois. Toledo has also played more of its games in the MAC West, which is much stronger than the East this year. While Toledo did lose at home last week to Ball State, remember that Ball has been playing solidly and took Michigan to the wire. Toledo has an outstanding straight up and ATS record at home under Anstutz.
