I'm not sure if that's a fair statement. I think the D has stepped up and the play calling has been better. I don't know what it is but it's like the D doesn't care when donovan is in, and andy is just like, fuck it, we have donovan we don't really need a game plan. But now that he's gone the game plans have been better and the D REALLY steps up when their back is to the wall. Maybe, the play calling is better because Reid didn't have confidence in McNabb? Maybe, The Eagles D is disenchanted with McNabb? The Eagles have had some very good teams the last 5 or 6 years. The best in the NFC. The Eagles would have played in and won at least one Super Bowl with many other QBs in the league.Originally posted by vondie

I have to disagree, he's patient, doesn't force many throws. he can run when he has too. I think you are way off to say reid doesn't have confidence in mcnabb, if anything maybe it's too much confidence. which is too say he throws too much when he's in there, making it easy for defenses to game plan against. and with the D....They play better with the lead.Originally posted by frankb031 = $25

He might be all of those things but it doesn't explain the lack of success Philly has had in the playoffs the past 5+ years. A journeyman QB like Garcia has shown he's a better QB than McNabb.Originally posted by vondie
