8 year contract worth 17 million a year for a 30 year old??That doesn't sound like that great of a deal. Hendry is under alot of pressure to win, especially after the Red Sox, Whitesox, and Cardinals won the last 3 world series. This just doesn't look like that good of a deal. They are also reporting in Chicago, that Soriano will be the starting centerfielder??? He's never played there before I don't think. It makes their lineup alot more potenet, but they don't have any pitching.
