I had a poor 1-3 NFL day last Sunday but was 4-0 yesterday in college football with three plays being dogs that won straight up.
All plays were posted earlier in the week, without write-ups, at the lines cited below.
1* Cowboys pk
Indy keeps winning games by a few points despite a lousy run defense. The Cowboys have a great match-up here with their excellent running game. Dallas had some tough early games but turned its season around two weeks ago in the fourth quarter rally in Carolina. It carried over in last week's decisive road win.
1* Packers +6
Green Bay has won two in a row and New England has lost two in a row. Some will say that means Green Bay is "due" for a loss and the Pats are "due" for a win. I say Green Bay is playing much improved football and New England is in a rut. I think this will be a high scoring game and likely to come down to a field goal. Take the points on the hot team.
1* Dolphins -3 (-120)
Similar situation to the Packers game as the Vikings are cold, having lost three in a row and looking bad in all of them, while the Dolphins have won two in a row. Miami may have turned a corner when it came back from its bye and beat the Bears. Minnesota's offense looks terrible and Brad Johnson looks washed up.
Opinions only:
Chiefs (back home where they are a much better team)
49ers (once again, play the hot team)
