How can the coaches, the harris, and the ap polls have W. Virginia ranked ahead of the Cardinals. We beat them by double digits, our schedule is way more difficult than theirs, oh did i say we beat them. Please, anyone who is not a retard tell me why they are ranked ahead of us in any poll.

in most polls it is when you lost as opposed to who you lost to.....I believe that florida was ranked higher than auburn ...even though they lost to them....obviously this is not a perfect system....
no disrespect to your team, but they are suspect on D 2 weeks in a row on national TV....
I am sure that has hurt the perception as well

I wonder how the math would turn out if USC beats Cal, ND and UCLA. I had heard a BCS guy say that Florida would end up # 2 if they ran the table, but I think a lot depends on who beats who.
I think it hurt USC that Cal lost to Arizona yesterday from the strength of schedule standpoint.
I also wonder what would happen if Michigan beat Ohio St in OT, let's say. Would the polls keep Ohio St high enough to keep them in for a rematch with Michigan?Every

also the 2 defensive debacles i would believe also led to their demise in the eyes of the pollsters....
if a team loses in the 2nd week of the season it seems to have less impact than if they lose in week 11...
I do not know the answer to the question....i am simply speculating.....
IMHO Lousville's defensive collapses recently (on national TV) has hurt them more than anything.....
The way you put it is logical, however.....humans are not logical and they do the voting...
Louisville really has nobody to blame but themselves.....I am not going to shit on them, because i like them alot......But i think if they can eventually recrack the top 10 it would be great for them considering what they have been up against

That's exactly it. It's the timing of the loss. That's why one loss teams who lose early tend to end up higher than one loss teams who lose late.
I think my almer mater, the Adelphi University Panthers, are getting a raw deal. Especially since they don't have a football program.Every
