Been offered a trade and was hoping to get a few knowledgable opinions as I am having a hard time deciding on the offer:

I have been offered Mike Bell, Deion Branch and TJ Houshmanzadeh for Shaun Alexander

The rest of my team includes:
    RB K.Jones / W.Parker / D.McCallister
    WR L.Fitzgerald / L.Coles / H.Ward / Shockey / L.Evans

    ??????????????????????????????????????????

Doesn't look bad to me, but I don't do well in fantasy leagues.

Depends on your situation. If you are doing well and going to make the playoffs I say don't do the deal. Shaun will miss one more week it appears, and that gives him another few weeks to get back into shape before the fantasy playoffs. I don't care for Mike Bell at all. Shanahan is the devil to fantasy players, and he can't be counted on. I like Housh, he is the #1 WR on Cinci, not CJ. However, I look at him more as a #2 WR the way Cinci's offense is playing. I don't like Branch either b/c he won't be consistent. Too many other options once they get healthy. Come fantasy playoffs he will be competing with Alexander, DJax, Engram, Stevens.

I'd say unless your are struggling and need help the next 2 weeks, sit tight. I really don't care for the deal.

this is a no brainer. take this offer and run. even if alexander comes back, who knows how good he will be. you have other good backs and now will have lots of depth. this is a steal for you imo.

                DO IT FOR SURE!

Alexander aint even playing Sunday and that is week 10. Also, the biggest part of fantasy is the last 2 weeks and if Seattle has division locked up, they will rest him. And he has no Hasselb. or Hutchinson when he returns.

                ACCEPT.

I say no way. Take a look at Alexander's schedule, during fantasy playoff time he's gonna be a stud. Mike Bell, TJ and Branch will all be inconsistant.

Dude, they are 4-4 right now. They won't be locking up anything early enough to sit their players. Most league championships are held the second to last week of the season, and Seattle ain't good enough to be sitting 2 weeks early. Even if the division is settled, they will still be fighting for seeding and to possibly get an extra home game. Hasselback is also supposed to be back week 11.

No problem, man. I live for this fantasy shit, even more than the gambling. Hell, it's a lot cheaper, and I get the same thrill.
