Our strongest play yesterday [ Olympic a.k.a. the greek ] was the roadies + 2.5 , outcome was Roadies - 35 + 2.5 = 37 , Home = 22. Today we are looking at the same bet at + 4.5 , for a handful of games [ saturation principle ]

As we all know there are teams at home that are jack-the-giant-killer , Colo. - 586 total runs , 372 are from home , 214 on the road , for a negative 142 runs when traveling [ which there are today ] . On the other hand the Yanks - 553 totals , 230 at home , 323 on the road , a + 93 when traveling ] are a very good traveling team .

Of course one has to weed out killer pitchers and various other factors , but after compiling and crunching all the stats , the roadies look pretty fair at a + 4.5

Roadies = 233 + 4.5
vs.
Homies = 204

After my comps this looks like a fair wager

A + 34 roadie

Expos : 483 runs scored - 287 home , 196 road [ as they were ]

A + 91 homie

Stats dont lie , and they dont always tell the truth either , but everything on the planet pointed to a over there , which I think they doubled ?

Of course a no-wager here , just a guess [ albeit bad ]

Well it looks like " the greek " has come to his waterloo and seen the error in his ways , meaning no exotics on Road vs. Home today . He has been getting spanked in a bad way by the ladies club as of late , and hes on the ropes !

Florida ---- under 8.5 [ this line has been falling ]

Dan Wright should get killed tonight yet it's only 3-0 in the sixth and Franklin up to date had not been much better and I figured the Sox would get to the Mariner Middle pen.....So go Sox and Go Runs! I just can't see Wright hanging around long without giving up a 5 spot or more!

Always great to hear from you and your style bleeds class like a 57 Chevy , getting to the points we see another of the " greeks " flanks exposed today and will start a new thread to explain it later .

In retro we should count our blessings after last nights fiasco , a 4-1 night is better than a sharp stick in the eye , but they really didnt come the way I expected so I aint taken no credit . 1st of all , thanks for the Braves over and 2nd of all the Wiz-Sox where a no show last night but beggars cant be complain about hand-outs !

And to answer your question about ranking a bet , the truth of the matter is yes we do . We always have a favorite looking bet of the day that seems to gather more moss than others .

Marlins RHP Josh Beckett`s ERA in home games is a " jeckel & hyde " story , he nails a 2.08 & 4-2 at home vs. a 4.50 & 1-2 away , so watch for his home starts ?

Braves RHP Shane Reynolds is a lifetime 6-0 at Olympic Stadium in 9 starts , sporting a nice 2.85 there [ he likes B_ nut evidently ]
