  • Early College Dangerous Tease Plays

It is very dangerous to key on one team in multiple tease plays. I have done playing four tease plays at a time, using one team as key play in all four teases.

After tieing the first few of these dangerous plays I lost the college one below (winning one and losing three of the four) last Saturday. My key play was Virginia Tech, plus 4.5 points at Miami (which won), in four 7 point tease plays with:

W.V. plus 8.5 at Louisville LOST

Fla minus 7 at Vandy LOST

Indiana plus 12 at Minn LOST

Wisc Pick against Penn St WON

Then in NFL I took Seattle (at home) in a Pick against Oakland, as my key play in four 7 point tease plays with these other teams:

San Diego minus 5.5 against Clev. WON

Jax minus 2.5 against Tenn. WON

Minn plus 2 at SF LOST

Pitts plus 4 against Denver LOST

The above was a tie. This is my record (ties not counted):

College: 6-10 (1-3 of this is on one dangerous tease play that lost - the other 3 or 4 tease plays all tied)

    NFL: 3-4

Here is the dangerous tease play for college this week:

Taking USC minus .5 against Oregon as my key play (if it loses I lose all four bets) in four separate 7 point tease plays with the following teams

NC State plus 24 at Clemson

    Georgia plus 20 at Auburn

    Arkansas plus 1.5 aganst Tenn.

    Ala. plus 24 at LSU

the cardinal rule is to not tease college games, even though we all do it i usually only do it when there is only one or two games going and its just to watch it on tv for fun.....just my opinion

You are absolutely 100 per cent correct.

NFL games are more consistent, and make better tease plays, but you only have about a 45 percent chance of hitting a two team 6 point tease in the NFL. Much less of a chance (than 45 per cent) in college tease plays.

The straight play is the best, college or NFL, when your chance of winning is less than 53 pecent on the straight play.

Parlay plays are bad (with 50 per cent chance plays on each team), unless you have teams that have a 54 per cent chance of winning, then you want 3 or 4 team parlays, which are much better than straight plays (with 54 per cent or better plays only). Otherwise straight plays are the best and teases are bad (when your chance of winning on the straight play is less than 53 per cent).

Well, I like all those sides except Arkansas, but I'm not a teaser guy at all. Anyway, best of luck.
        Records:

        NCAA Hoops (38-34-2, +4.59*)
        NFL Sides (34-25, +12.15*)
        NFL Totals (18-14-1, +8.23*)
        NCAA Foots Plays (65-48-4, +21.47*)
        NBA Plays (4-1-0, +5.92*)

Yes. Tenn. is a beter team overall than Arkansas.

However, Arkansas has much more at stake in the SEC race.

Tenn. might be emotionally drained because of their loss of any hope to win the SEC East, with their defeat last Saturday against LSU.
