What do you think, An ass load of services are on NE but the line doe not move much at all. My opinion is that if the books wanted more indy action they would move th e line to 3.5 or 4 , they did not move it , is this a quasi trap?

As you know from being a book though LM, isn't the whole idea for a book is not to need any team? This is done as you and others have stated by line movement, driving players one way or another. But can also be done by buying paper from other books who are in the reverse scenario of yourself. If you had a ton of action on NYG, another book may have a ton on Houston, you take some of the houston book from the other, thus bringing yourself to as close to 50/50 as possible thus insuring yourself profit regardless of outcome, because you are taking the Vig.

Not to question your intentions here, because as you layed out the books you mentioned did very well this week. But I think that this book info may only provide value as previously posted if you have multiple books information. For example I know my book needed Dallas yesterday because he had a ton of Washtington. Now there were a ton of bets on Dallas from "joe Dallas fan" but a ton of heavies were on Washington.

                          Thanks for sharing.

sometimes it is not possible to get even action on a game and as a book you do not want to get middled-let me give you an example
lets say I am the book and I open tonight with a line of 6.5 on the MNF game---and the first 20 bets are all on seattle and i want to move the line to say 7.5 to get action on the otherside---I COULD GET MIDDLED-if the game lands on 7 i lose them all-plus this changes teasers and parlay lines as well-also there are some games where it just doesnt matter the lines-I am gonna get pounded with heavy action regardless-look at the ATL/DET line this week-I opened 4 on that game-then got heavy ATL action-then moved the line to 5.5-still got heavy action-I could have moved that line up to 7 and still would have been rooting for DET so it doesnt always matter-and usually the only times it does matter-moving it from 6.5-7.5 or 2.5 to 3.5-i could get middled-hope this helps
