Texas Shorthorns -17 Boone Pickens State Cowboys have developed into a fine offensive team. Bobby Reid has the #3 QB rating nationally and throws to some fine receivers. They're putting up big numbers. Adarius Bowman has 877 yards and is a Biletnikoff award finalist. I don't think those facts have escaped anyone. I sure hope these facts haven't escaped the Horns' coaching staff. The last couple of years, UT has had to score about a gazillion points in the 2d half to come back from a deficit to OSU. That trend indicates to me that UT hasn't taken the Cowboys seriously enough. I think they'll be better prepared this year, given OSU's recent success. The Horns will get ahead, stay ahead, keep pounding the Cowboy's defense, and will find a way to slow down OSU's offense. They're just better than the Cowboys. I think the Cowboys hit a serious bump in the road today on I-35 in Austin. If I'm wrong, I'll have to begrudgingly give props to those Aggies from Stillwater.
