POEM for PAPI

on 30,000 posts, here's what I have to say......

It all started on this memorable day,
It was January 28th of 2004........
When Spark came to BC with information,
and constantly supplying more.....

His personality instantly came out,
And was picked up by everyone.....
We all knew he was knowledgable,
and willing to have fun.......

Sparks had his days helping us all,
as a Sports Service Updater......
Who in the hell would possibly know,
He'd become a much admired "Moderator"..

I joined this Forum behind Spark,
it was exactly a month later...
I instantly learned to like him a lot,
And now, I say, "there's no greater"...

almost 3 whole years have gone by,
Since Papi and the Kapt's start,
and it all got initiated,
when he called me an "Old Fart"...

There was a bond set then and there,
That I know is here to stay...
Thats one of the main reasons,
I go to BC, every day.....

He's done a lot for this Forum,
and no one can possibly say otherwise...
He has gained all the members respect,
and is definitely #1, in "My Eyes"....

His job has been awfully tough,
and a Grumpy day for him "is rare"...
but, despite some of the harder times,
He always manages to treat others "fair"...

I've learned to know him off the Forum,
and this stays true "to the end"....
Papi, congrats on your many posts,
And I'm PROUD you consider me a friend....

Now there's times here and there,
That I'll fire at you a "Sassy Dart"....
But that's only cause you can take it,
And you know you're my favorite "Fart"...

Great Job by you Papi,
and also to Monte and Wayne....
You guys are the main reasons,
People keep coming back "again"....

Kaptain, That poem was great ... and yes it is true ... we started in the service threads and had a blast ... I liked it when the other guys wanted to be real serious in there and you and I would be calling each other YOF ... "Go get the Geritol and go to bed" ...
