Not a premier match up here for a nationally televised game, but yet again an income earning opportunity.....

Small interest in SMU -4'
Here's why......
This is a HUGE game for SMU as evident by a countdown clock on the SMU athletics web site. UAB has 4 wins on the season and boasts only 1 road win, a 1 point victory @ Rice. In the Blazers wins they have outrushed ALL their opponents and in each loss they have been outrushed. Their O-line is a bit banged up and they WILL NOT outrush SMU. SMU allows 80 ypg on the ground. SMU does have achilles heel on D and that is their Pass-D. UAB's strength.
I invision both teams having the ability to move the ball playing to their strengths. You have to go back to SMU's second game to find a total number scored below 55. UAB's last 3 have eclipsed 55, two ecliped 60. SMU avg 44ppg @ home while the Blazers QB Willis is on fire as of late tossing 18 td passes in his last 5 games.
SMU is 8-2 against he number as of late while UAB is on a 4-9-1 run. The worrisome part of taking SMU bigger is the fact UAB is 6-1 as an underdog of 8' or less.
