HAL's Week 8 Picks
On the side, we've been maintaining and monitoring one of those stat-based analysis automated prediction program things. In other words, it's a computer-based picking program. And while we're not going to expect anyone to believe the stats from the past, we thought it would be interesting to start publishing these picks for your amusement. We'll call them, HAL's Picks, in honor of the artificially intelligent computer.
First, we'll publish HAL's past predictions and results and then we'll publish his Week 8 picks. To date, HAL is 31-3 ATS. Too good to be true, we thought so too but this thing keeps on winning. However, as luck would have it, the good luck machine may run its course after we start publishing predictions but we're willing to take that chance because it's too damn funny to watch. I mean, 91% ATS accuracy is unreal and as you can see, HAL has not had a losing weekend yet.

Take this with a grain of salt and let's see how well this thing pans out during Week 8. Given the law of statistics, it's likely that there will be a big adjustment real soon that will bring HAL into the realm of human mediocrity. Until then, if he keeps winning, we'll keep passing along the picks.
