    There is no way on earth Detroit loses game 5 with Verlander vs Reyes........you can mark that down right now as a Tiger win......I am damn near certain of this

    Now to tonights game where in lies the problem as I have no clue who will win so I will make a small personal play on the Tigers for the hell of it

    If Detroit wins and makes it 2-2 and then wins game 5 like I expect we will end it in either 6 or 7

    If St Louis wins tonight and takes a 3-1 lead tonight and a 3-2 lead back to Detroit I expect St Louis to end this in 6

    If hope that makes sense........Tigers win tonight and they win in 6 or 7 (Carpenter pitches game 6 if St Louis is down 3-2 otherwise he is saved for 7 if necessary)

    In essence just bet the farm on Detroit in game 5 & THE WINNER OF GAME 4 WILL WIN THE SERIES

    those are my feelings exactly... I think Detroit closes it out in 7 against Suppan on short rest... The Tigers have the better pen if it goes 7 games even though it did not show last night...

    I look for them to hit Reyes much better when they see him again and for Verlander to do the right thing and pitch around Pujols with a base open and a man on this time! GO TIGERS!!

        not saying that i disagree with your picks...

        but i heard on espn the other night that the past two times these two teams played in the world series... the team who won game 4 ended up losing the series... the past two times ( i think in the 30's and 60's) and this year... stl won game 1... det won game 2... stl won game 3.... and the winner of game 4 lost the series..

        but hey, thats history rite??

            Detroit needs to come out tonight----if they do, then they'll be strong---if not, then one can say, it was a good season.........

              I am passing tonight and will play Detroit big in game 5......the game to play the Cards IMO was in game or for the series and needless to say I missed the boat on both......tomorrow I will not
