Help on my Houston Rocket prop bet

I have them over 44 1/2 wins at -115 $230 - $200
They are now over/under 46 1/2 wins at over -130 and under even

I could re bet my $200 on under 46 1/2 at a pick and try to middle at 45 or 46 wins....
win $400 or be even (small vig loss)

thoughts?

I look at it this way, it's always good to be in a situation where you can't lose. That being said you have to decide...do you wanna take a shot at 200 or a total freeroll at 400. I can't imagine how lucky you would have to get to land exactly on 45 or 46....so again you have to decide how confidant you are.

for the advice....I must be on the right track for it to move the way it did....I'll probably just go with the over 44 1/2 and root for a team I like a great deal anyway all year!!

I actually think they'll win 43 or 42 games, so I would go for the middle. Good luck whatever you do

I say trust your first instinct... but remember bet with your head and not your heart... 9 times out of 10 i will bet against my favorite team only and almost never bet on them ... so keep that over... if Tmac stays helathy they will play better than .500 ball for the year...

I hate these kinda bets because the money is tied up for 6 months

I think you have a winner cuz I think Houston is a lock for 50 wins if healthy (just Mac and Yao)

a healthy houston will win 50+ games, pimp is right..........2 years ago, they were on the verge of being an elite team, and the additions of battier and wells will make them a very very good team

Shorty and Pimp nailed it: A healthy Rockets squad ( read: no long layoffs for Yao and/or TMac) is a 50 wins + team.

Look up what record for Rockets was in games w/o Yao, w/o Mcg and w/o both, and then look up what it was with both in there. Hard to cap for injuries, but TMac is rarely good for a full season. If they can get 70-72 games from him ,they'll be lucky, but will also win at least 46 games.

That is the trouble with team wins totals, with X factor being major roster changes due to injuries. I have Seattle Seahawks at OVER 11 wins +135, and thought it was too EZ, and then I look up with Hasselback and Alexander out, and even with the soft schedule it's going to take a miracle.

GL on your play, and a middle guarantees no loss, and the possibility of a double win, but I think it's either way over or way undser, not likely for a middle.
