I know I'm always negative, but fuck, the Cardinals pitchers are all of sudden aces? This is fucking BS...tigers looked like they couldn't lose and now they can't hit a lick. If the Tigers go down this game, their in deep shit cuz they have Suppan tomorrow and then Carpenter in Game 7 if it goes that far.
Carpenter is an ACE buddy and has been in St Louis for a few years now. That's not a secret. I think Detroit did have a little hangover in the 1st 2 at home but i think they will get 1 or 2 in St Louis!
You guys are right. The Cardinals are the worst team ever. So how can we be losing right now!
The 1927 Yankees weren't the best team ever. What everyone fails to realize is that the year before, with the exact same team, they lost to the Cardinals in the World Series.

I hope so, but it appears this is the Cardinals team that people were waiting for all year. Funny how this shit happens.
You forgot El Duque was back and didn't you
watch Game 6 &7.
Even if he did come back, coming off an injury, there's no guarantee he would be good...Maine is decent, but I'm not gonna fall for Perez's performance in game 7
Mets starters seemed decent in the playoffs besides Traschel. This Tigers lineup hasn't done nuttin against Reyes & Weaver not exactly the greatst pitchers either.
I Hate Chris Carpenter. Pitching better then Kenny Rogers and he doesn't even cheat to do it. What an asshole.

This is called one team peaking too early and the other peaking just at the right time.....Baseball is a very streaky sport. Teams lose and win in bunches. If the Tigers don't win the next game, this series is over. And I bet the Tigers +220 to win the World Series before the Oakland series...
Well, at least the Cardinals didn't listen to all the AL fans that post here and decided to show up for this series. I thought this was supposed to be a walkover for the AL and no matter which teams made the series, it was going to be a sweep for the AL. Sure glad they decided to show up.....
