      It changes every week, I dont' think that minnesota and st. louis can be ignored either. What's so dissapointing about the eagles is that their schedule gets REALLY tough the 2nd half of the year....to have 3 losses already is absurd.

      TTT I disagree about the if's....if's dont' matter looking back, but they do matter looking forward, IF all the teams in the NFC play to their best, it will be the bears giants and eagles there at the end, but IF they don't (and they never do) you have to mix in the saints, rams, and vikings too.
      1 = $25

        I am not buying the Saints...there regression to the mean is imminent.....The Vikings are pretenders and the Rams....well they play in a division loaded with midget football teams....(sorry rook).....

        Each game has to be played....No team is right on every week...Many ups and downs throughout the season......If awards were given out for potential then there would be no reason for hard work.....the world is full of potential losers......

        I still think when the dust settles the Giants will be battle tested (due to their rigorous schedule) if they can stay healthy

        I think the Eagles D is not where it should be either....3 losses is alot so far....

        But thats why they play the games....So guys like me and you can pontificate

Obviously, Chicago is #1, but I still think Carolina is a close 2nd followed by the Eagles. I know the Giants beat them, but if the Eagles can stop making dumb mistakes, they will be right there at the end. I think this division comes down to those 2 teams, and I think it will come down to the last few weeks.
              All teams make mistakes. It's part of the game. Let's not forget sometimes mistakes are a result of the other team and players. Teams force fumbles. Make good plays on interceptions etc.

                Tony, I don't agree. The Saints are a very good team. They've been bad so long their roster is deep with top round draft picks. They finally have a good coach with a very good NFL caliber QB.

                As ex-Giant coach. Although, I didn't like his as the Giant's offensive coordinator.

                  they may be a good team....that remains to be seen....I think winning more times than not is a progrssive thing in the NFL......IMHO they come back to earth and vacillate to around 9-7 to finish the year....JMHO...as a giant coach he was relieved of his play calling duties under jim fassel
